Preparing your DJ / Meeting the Bride and Groom

I prefer to meet the bride and groom prior to booking the function, although as some of my clients are from abroad or other provinces, it is not always easy to meet prior to the wedding, that is where communication via email and over the phone becomes crucial, and I keep in close contact with them, especially in the weeks leading up to the function.

Things that I like to discuss prior to your Big Day

• Service time - this, along with the guest arrival will determine what time I need to arrive.
• First Guests arrival – as above.
• Entrance song - I can make suggestions, should you have nothing particular in mind.
• First song, and an other specific songs or specific announcements.
• General music genres to play – Although I have and extensive collection, and know the best music to play at weddings, I like to get a sense from the couple of what specific genres or bands/groups they and their guests would like to hear.
