We got married on the 25 September 2010 at Lythwood Lodge in the Natal Midlands. Grant Boonzaier from Sounds Unique was our DJ. Grant was absolutely fantastic - he assisted right the very start at our ceremony right up until the last guests were all partied out! Our guests (and over selves) did not want to leave the dance floor. Everyone had such a great time. Grant managed to keep all the guests happy ranging from our younger guests to my Dad and his friends. Grant - thank you for helping in making our special day even more special. To this day our guests are still speaking about our wedding and what a party they had.

Shaun and I have seriously had some questionable “referred” dj’s and sadly they have been for our most memorable occasions. Namely our engagement and then our wedding!!! Even after giving song choices – their flow did not work at all! Since then I do all my own music for our parties, which has worked out perfectly but it literally takes me weeks to do. So this time I had to think of something else for Shaun’s 40th and thanks to Damon Beard’s referral we had the most awesome DJ that evening EVER! YOU!

After speaking to you Grant, I was not in the least bit concerned – I knew I had found the best of the best! Your selection of music was perfect and we had not even discussed this. You just felt the crowd and the vibe and went with it. There were always people on the dance floor & you even had a few of our lady guests on our bar! You really managed to entertain a group of 70+ people. Well Done!!

We had paid till 3 in the morning and he carried on till the venue closed without even saying that he wanted more cash (like some DJ's do). Kevin and I tied the knot on the 21st of Feb 2009. Music is a big part of both our lives and it is the main thing that could create the right atmosphere (or destroy it) at a wedding. This, together with the fact that I am Afrikaans with Afrikaans family and friends attending and him being from an English background, made it very important to us to get the right DJ.

Someone at work referred me to Grant and he was our number one choice from the beginning. He consulted with us to find out what we liked. He made several very good suggestions and he just handled things from there. We did not have to worry for a second about microphones or lights or anything AV related. He contacted the MC and best man and made arrangements with them – in all he really took a load off us. Young and old all danced together. The music and atmosphere was great. I would definitely recommend Grant’s services.
